Shy in appearance, seductive by nature, Kajal, the new fragrance for women, is inspired by the Arabic word khajal – the shy modesty that a woman may feel when she is recognized for her beauty.
The “shy” quality that is portrayed in the name of the fragrance is coupled with a visual of a powerful mesmerizing woman. Her “kajal” seduces. She gets what she wants. She is in control.
In the Indian culture Kajal also means kohl – the makeup around the eye. Kajal has been worn traditionally since the time of the Pharos in Egypt.
Kajal, collaboration between Selective Fragrances and EmmKay Beauté, will exclusively be launched in the Middle East in the Wojooh fragrance shops and will be sold in a one size 100ml Eau De Perfume bottle.
Kajal is an opulent fragrance that fits into the Floral Oriental family.
The top notes are introduced with Amalfi Lemon, Calabrian Bergamot and Mandarin.
In the floral heart, the Turkish Rose becomes apparent, shy at first, but gradually blossoming into the fragrance; the rose is accompanied by notes of Orris.
Kajal’s base notes combine the sexiness of musk and amber. These are coupled with Madgascar Vanille, tonka beans and a woody hint of Mysore Sandalwood.
